The AIR Society gala is an established NYC tradition, attracting over 400 professionals annually. The gala is to support NJH hospitals with a presence in NYC, Philadelphia, and Denver.

The gala is an evening of celebration, features exquisite cuisine, and offers a great opportunity to forge new connections, and, most importantly, the chance to support an incredible cause.  Since its inception, the AIR Society has raised over $6 million for NJH. This year our honoree is entrepreneur Slater B. Traaen.

NJH, founded 127 years ago as a nonprofit, stands today as the leading hospital dedicated exclusively to groundbreaking medical research and the treatment of patients with respiratory, cardiac, immune, and related disorders. Through its partnership with the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, it has established The Mount Sinai – National Jewish Health Respiratory Institute in New York City, furthering its commitment to providing cutting-edge, comprehensive care to patients and families from across the globe. Patients are offered care without regard to their ability to pay. Notably, only 1% of medical job applicants are selected to work at NJH.
